Canceling a SAT Registration

If a student needs to cancel they're SAT registration, they can do so through they're My SAT account on the official SAT website. If the cancellation is made by Thursday 11:59 p.m. ET before the test day, the student will receive a full refund of their registration fee, minus a cancellation fee.

• If you cancel before the regular cancellation deadline, which is usually about 5 weeks before the test date then the cancellation fee is $25.

• If you cancelled after the regular deadline, by Thursday 11:59 p.m. ET but before the late registration deadline, then the cancellation fee is $35.

• If you cancel your registration for a particular SAT test date, you'll need to register again means you'll need to go through the registration process again and pay the registration fee, as well as any additional fees that may apply if you register after the regular deadline or make any changes to your registration details.
