The IBPS Clerk 2023 Prelims Exam Pattern has undergone significant modifications. The IBPS Clerk preliminary Exam is given online, and applicants have a total of one hour (twenty minutes for each section) to complete it.

The Five major subjects included in the IBPS Clerk Syllabus 2023 for prelims and mains are: Reasoning Ability, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Computer Knowledge & Banking and Financial Awareness / Static GK / Current Affairs.
The subjects included in the syllabus of IBPS PO and Clerk exam are same but the exam pattern differs. Moreover, the IBPS PO mains exam includes a descriptive English examination, whereas the clerical cadre exam does not.

The IBPS Clerk Reasoning syllabus includes the following topics such as verbal reasoning (analogy, classification, coding-decoding, etc.) and non-verbal reasoning (series, analogy, mirror images, etc.), sense test, blood relations, alphabet test, logical Venn diagrams, sitting arrangement, time sequence test and ranking.
The IBPS Clerk English language syllabus includes the following topics such as Reading Comprehension, Sentence Correction, Cloze Test, Error Spotting, Para Jumbles, Phrasal Verbs, Vocabulary (Synonyms, Antonyms, Homonyms), Fill in the Blanks, Idioms and Phrases, Sentence Completion & One-word Substitution.
The maths syllabus for IBPS Clerk exam includes the following important topics such as number series, quadratic equations, simplification, data interpretation, averages, time and distance, time and work, ratio and proportion, percentage, permutation and combination, probability, partnership, simple and compound interest & profit and loss.
