• Left thumb impression (If a candidate is not having a left thumb, he/she may use his/ her right thumb. Steps to fill IBPS PO Application Form

Follow the steps mentioned below to fill in the online application form of IBPS PO 2023:

Step 1. Visit the IBPS website at www.ibps.in or simply click the the above link when application process starts.

Step 2. Select CRP PO/MT from the list on the lift side of the homepage.

Step 3. Click the notification that says "Common Recruitment Process for Probationary Officers/Management Trainee-XI" to open a new page.

Step 4. Now click on the link notifying - “Click here to Apply Online for Common Recruitment Process for Probationary Officers/Management Trainee-XI CRP PO/MT-XI”

Step 5. After this, click the link that says "CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION" in the top right corner of the page.

Step 6. You will now be taken to the form's opening section. Complete all the required fields, then press the Save and Next button at the bottom of the page.

Step 7. On the second section of the application form, you are required to upload your photograph and signature in this section.

Step 8. Click on the Next button after uploading your photograph and signature successfully.

Step 9. You are now required to fill in your personal details. There are three sub-sections that need to be completed in this portion of the application form.

You must enter your educational background and work experience after providing your personal information. After completing this, you must complete the preference list.

Mention the centre name in the preferences list. You must decide where you will administer the exam. As your preferred centre, you must list 4 locations.

After the choices have been made, click on save and next

Step 10. Check the preview of your application form and edit if you find any errors. You won't be able to make any changes to the form once the data has been saved and uploaded. Please check all the information you provided when filling out the application.

Step 11. Finally, choose your preferred method of payment to submit your application for the IBPS PO 2023 Exam. Every payment is made online. The application fee can be paid online with a credit card, debit card, net banking, etc.

IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria 2023

IBPS PO Educational Qualification

Graduation Degree: The minimum requirement for the IBPS CRP exam is a graduation degree in any discipline from a university recognised by the Government of India (BA, B.Com, B.Sc, B.Tech, or equivalent). Anyone who has earned an equivalent degree that is recognised by the Central Government is also qualified to apply for this exam.

The candidates must indicate their percentage of graduation marks when registering for the IBPS Bank-PO exam and must have a current Mark-sheet or Degree Certificate that verifies their graduation status on the day they register for the exam.

Computer Literacy: Working knowledge of computer systems is required for the position as well as to take the online IBPS PO exam.

Language Proficiency: Verbal and written proficiency in the official language of the State/UT is desirable. The candidate must be able to read, write and speak the language.

Nationality / Citizenship of Applicants

A candidate applying for IBPS CRP/Bank PO Examination must be one of the following:

1. Citizen of India

2. Subject of Nepal or Bhutan

3. Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement

4. Person of Indian Origin (PIO) who has migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam or East African countries of Zaire,Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, Malawi, with the intention of permanent settlement in India

IBPS PO Recruitment Process 2023: Selection Process

Every year, Probationary Officers (PO) and Management Trainees (MT) are hired via the Common Recruitment Process (CRP), also known as the IBPS PO exam. The CRP was established in 2011 and is being administered for the thirteenth time this year; as a result, it is officially known as IBPS PO/MT CRP XIII 2023. The preliminary, main, and interview rounds of the IBPS PO selection process are each prerequisites for moving on to the following round. Here are the critical steps of the IBPS PO Recruitment Process:

1. Online Preliminary Examination: IBPS selects a sufficient number of applicants for each category based on the criteria for the online main examination.

2. Online Mains Examination: To be eligible for an interview, candidates must meet both the sectional cutoff and the overall cutoff in the main exam.

3. Interview: The Participating Organisations will conduct the interview, with the assistance of IBPS, and the Nodal Bank in each State/UT will coordinate it.

4. Final Result: The combined performance of candidates in the IBPS PO Mains and Interview Rounds is used to determine the Final Result.

IBPS PO 2023 Exam Pattern: Subject-Wise

IBPS changed the preliminary exam's sectional timing to separate timing for each section. The IBPS PO exam (CRP XIII) will be based on a two-part online written exam: Tier 1 or the IBPS Preliminary Exam and Tier 2 or the IBPS Mains Exam. A face-to-face interview process follows this examination.

IBPS PO Prelims Exam Pattern 2023

Each section of the IBPS PO preliminary examination will last 1 hour and 20 minutes total and will be delivered online. It has a maximum score of 100 marks and is divided into 3 sections with a total of 100 questions. For each incorrect response, 0.25 points are subtracted from your final score in the IBPS PO pre-exam. For the IBPS PO Main exam, candidates must achieve the cut-off in each of the three sections. Candidates must achieve the minimum cut-off scores in each of the three tests, which will be determined by IBPS. IBPS will decide how many candidates in each category are sufficient based on the requirements before shortlisting candidates for the online main examination.

IBPS PO Mains Exam Pattern 2023

The IBPO PO Mains exam is also given online. It consists of 5 (4+1) sections, making the total 200+25 marks, and lasts 180+30 minutes. The main exam for IBPS will include a descriptive paper to choose candidates for the position of probationary officer. The sections must be completed within the allotted time and in the same order as specified at the time of the exam. Penalty for Wrong Answers: In the Objective Tests of the Preliminary and Mains exams, incorrect answers are penalised. The candidate will lose one-fourth of the marks allotted to the question if they respond incorrectly to an objective question. For instance, a wrong response to a question that receives 1 mark will result in a penalty of 0.25 marks. There will be no penalty if a candidate leaves a question unanswered, i.e., does not mark an answer.

IBPS PO Interview Weightage

The face-to-face interview, which carries a maximum of 100 marks, is required of applicants who have qualified to for the mains exam. The required percentage in the interview is 40% (35% for candidates who are SC, ST, OBC, or have a disability).

A panel of bank officials conducts an interview with the candidates that lasts about 15 to 20 minutes, during which time they are asked questions about themselves, the banking industry, current events, general knowledge, etc. The candidates must be well dressed, confident and carry all required documents to the interview.

Based on the scores received in the primary exam and interview, the final merit list is created. IBPS computes the final score using a weighted average of 80/20 for the main exam and interview respectively.

Final Score Calculation for IBPS PO Exam

The final score for the IBPS PO exam is calculated keeping the following points in mind:

1. The Preliminary Exam (Tier-1) marks are only used for Mains Exam qualification and will not be taken into account when calculating the final score (Tier-2).

2. To be eligible for final merit, candidates must pass both the Phase-2 and Interview.

3. IBPS PO Main exam and interview weighting (ratio) for final merit list will be 80:20, respectively.

4. For each category's final merit list, the total score out of 100 is used. Finally, the candidates with the highest merit rank across all categories are chosen.

IBPS PO 2023 Salary, Base Pay, Benefits

An IBPS Probationary Officer's base pay ranges from Rs. 52,000 to Rs. 55,000, plus additional benefits like special allowances and dearness pay. IBPS PO Exam Centre

The IBPS PO exam is given online at many locations throughout India, and candidates can specify their preferences when completing the online application. IBPS may, however, assign an exam centre other than the candidate's choices if there are no seats available at the candidate's first-choice locations. Candidates cannot request changes to the exam centre; IBPS alone has the authority to add or remove exam centres. Any improper conduct at the exam site may result in the withdrawal of the candidate.

IBPS PO Pre-Exam Training

According to the guidelines set forth by the Government of India, the Nodal Banks/Participating Organisations may set up pre-examination training for candidates from the SC/ST/Religious Minority Community at specific centres. Depending on demand, IBPS may add new centres or shut down some. Pre-examination training candidates should download their call letters for training by logging in to the bank's website using their registration number, password, and birthdate. IBPS PO 2023 Admit Card & Call Letter
