IBPS PO 2022-23 official notification has been released by IBPS for the recruitment of 6432 Probationary Officers positions. IBPS PO Syllabus & Exam Pattern 2023. IBPS PO Exam Pattern 2023

IBPS PO Prelims Exam Pattern 2023, Maximum Marks & Duration

The IBPS PO preliminary examination will be administered online, and candidates will have a total of one hour to complete it. It has a maximum score of 100 marks and is divided into 3 sections with a total of 100 questions. In the IBPS PO preliminary exam, there is negative marking, and candidates loose 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer they choose. To be eligible for the IBPS PO Mains exam, candidates must achieve the cut-off in all three sections.

IBPS PO 2023 Interview Process & Weightage

IBPS will subsequently contact candidates who pass the Main Exam to schedule an interview. A candidate must earn at least 40% of the 100 possible points in the interview process to advance; for candidates who fall into the SC/ST/OBC/PWD categories, this threshold drops to 35%.

Penalty for Wrong Answers in Prelims & Mains

For each incorrectly answered question in the IBPS PO 2023 Preliminary Exam and IBPS PO 2023 Mains Exam, a candidate will lose 0.25 marks. No points will be deducted if a candidate leaves a question unanswered or incomplete.

Final Selection of Probationary Officer

The candidate's final selection for the position of probationary officer will be based on their overall performance in the main exam and during the interview process. Both of these examination phases will carry an equal weight in the ratio of 80:20. After the IBPS PO 2023 Exam Interview Process is completed, a merit list will be created. The joining letter will thus be made available to candidates who make the list by the Bank of their choice.
